RAmparts 2800-DF Keel Laying Ceremony

After selecting Robert Allan Ltd. to design PSA Marine’s first dual fuel ship-handling tug to operate in Singapore in January of this year the builder, PaxOcean, held the keel laying ceremony of this trend setting new vessel (Hull no. PX1098) in November at its facility in Zhuhai, China. Mr. Peter Chew, Managing Director and Mr. Lim Bock Kee, Senior General Manager (Special Projects) of PSA Marine attended the ceremony.

Robert Allan Ltd. is the world leader in the design of LNG tugs, having designed the RAstar 4000-DF for Østensjø Rederi, Norway and RAstar 3800-DF for Ningbo Port, China. The cooperation between Robert Allan Ltd. and PSA Marine began in 2002, with the design of Z-Tech^® tug series.
