Employee Ownership… a Bright Future
In 2008, reflecting the continued strong growth of the business, (and the “maturing” of the then sole Principal!), Robert Allan Ltd. was restructured from a private, family-owned business to a culture of employee ownership. Ten senior employees became the sole shareholders in the firm under the skillful guiding hand of Ken Harford, P.Eng, as the new President. Rob Allan moved into the new role of Executive Chairman of the Board, and still remains actively involved in an advisory role to the new owners and employees.
In 2012, the ownership base was further expanded to include another group of key and mostly younger highly skilled employees who will guide this historic company well into the future.
In 2015, Mike Fitzpatrick was appointed President and CEO of the company, taking charge of a dynamic and ever-expanding business.
