AmpRA Series
The AmpRA series of electric propulsion tugs is a revolution in the world of ship-handling tugs. Designed to maximize the potential of electric propulsion, this series stands to play a major role in the decarbonization of the world’s ports. With the first-in-series battery electric variants already under shipyard contract, this series asserts that zero-emission propulsion is no longer a future aspiration, but a fully viable solution to meet an urgent need for emissions reduction.
Available with or without backup generators, and in either day boat (shift tug) or full accommodation configurations, tugs in the AmpRA series are carefully customized for individual customers’ specific needs, with capacities carefully tuned to each vessel’s unique load profile.
The ultimate low-emissions and low-noise towing platforms, these environmentally friendly tugs are ready and fully capable of meeting the challenges of both today and tomorrow.
